I consider myself to be tenacious and adaptable. By having a competitive background in my early trainings, I have had to be quick on my feet to learn new choreographies and be open to critiques and changes. I’ve always been a team player and look to be generous and kind to everyone of all backgrounds. Living abroad and knowing multiple languages, I allow myself to be approachable and accommodating of others. However I believe my greatest quality is my perservernece. In August of 2021, I had undergone ankle surgery on my right foot to remove an excess bone. After not being able to walk for weeks and having to take my training into my own hands, I had to gain a new sense of perseverance if I ever wanted to dance again. I dedicted myself to rehabilitation and physical therapy. Seeing the recovery process first hand was difficult, however it gave me a sense of discipline and drive to further my strength and stability allowing me to be even stronger once fully recovered. It only took 2 months to get back in pointe shoes and only 10 months to compete and receive such high recognition from a prestigious panel at World Ballet Competition allowing me to train abroad and work to become a professional dancer. I believe what will set me apart from others is the growth mindset that I have gained from this experience. By waking up and choosing to find new ways to become a better version of me, the possibilities for my future can be endless.
